The exclusive Lauhala collection is a celebration of contrasts. A partnership between Nest Studio designer Jessica Davis and Hilo, Hawaii-based jewellery brand Ku & Moe, this collection highlights fibre artisan Iliahi Anthony’s life-learned skills of braiding and weaving in a thoroughly modern way.
Using a hardware base from our Mod series, Iliahi weaves the Hawaiian sourced screw pine leaf onto each piece by hand. Light or dark leaf wrapping can be added to any of the eight Mod pieces in four signature finishes. Each item in the collection is made-to-order and is one of a kind as a result of the raw materials and natural environments the screw pine leaf is sourced from. This collection’s striking simplicity makes it ideal for classic and contemporary spaces.
