This collection was born in 1965 after Louis Hamburger brought some pebbles back from his travelling in Portofino, Italy.

This naturally ergonomic element from nature, eroded by the sea for years is very pleasant in hand. The touch of the pebble is soft and comfortable.

This collection is sand casted in a traditional way and may present some surface bites. These are a guarantee of craftsmanship and make each item a unique piece. Leave time for the patina to appear, it will embellish your pebble. We recommend the polished brass
decor and other non-coated treatments due to the surface bites.

Dimensions are 45x40mm and a square plate/rose is also an additional option.

These pieces are another take on the SKEW form. With a bolder approach and a more intense presence, the 'right' and 'left' handles work together to make an impact. Use a right and a left handle, or two of the same side inverted, use them offset or in line. There are a few ways to install these items and we cannot wait to see how you creatives use them!

Coming in at 10.25" long, 1.5" wide at the widest part and with a projection of 1.25", the handles have two posts that take #8-32 screws and the post centres are 8.25" apart.

The SQUARE series’ minimalistic design is a eulogy to the perfection of square and rectangular shapes. While the series is simplistic, its finer details are what make it truly unique. All the products have a bold and well-defined look, but their chamfered edges make them wonderfully tactile. The late Jan des Bouvrie, founding father of Dutch design, contributed to the series and imparted the final touches by adding smooth lines to the SQUARE design, accentuating the major elements. Each product of the series is made of solid materials and is manually tested for 100% straightness using a variety of tools and templates. Square has to be square, after all. This well established series is the most comprehensive total concept range - including door, window and furniture fittings - featuring the largest number of products. One can recognize a Jan des Bouvrie by the smooth lines that emphasize the major elements of the lever handle and complete the design.
